Charlie George was an Islington-born forward of swagger and flair who grew up on the North Bank and lived out every supporter's dream, scoring the extra-time winner in the 1971 FA Cup final and lying flat on the Wembley turf in the most famous celebration in the club's history.
Defender · 1964–1973Frank McLintockThe captain who lifted the club's first Double. A Scottish wing-half remade into a commanding centre-half, Frank McLintock led the 1970/71 side to the League and FA Cup Double and was crowned Footballer of the Year, the inspirational heart of one of the great Arsenal teams.
