The Arsenal years

Campbell delivered immediately, winning the Double in 2002 in his first season and forming a formidable defensive partnership. He was a pillar of the Invincibles, marshalling the back line through the unbeaten 2003/04 league campaign. He saved one of his biggest moments for last, scoring in the 2006 Champions League final in Paris, before leaving Arsenal that summer. Authoritative throughout, he embodied defensive leadership.
